This Wolf Was Hit By A Car And Left To Die. What Happened Next Is So Touching.

One wolf was hit by a car and left to die on the road. In the Israeli countryside, seeing wolves is not out of the ordinary. One driver hit a wolf and left him for dead. Luckily, another car came by and took pity on him. If it weren’t for him, he would have died for sure.

The people who came to rescue the wolf named him Oliel. They took him to the vet and learned that he suffered from a fractured leg, and this prevented him from being able to walk. Emergency surgery was in the wolf’s future so that he could be on the mend.

It was no surprise that Oliel had more than a few problems trusting humans. After all, he was run over by a car. The good news is that the wolf is a fighter, and that’s exactly what he did. He continued to fight for his life and was able to make a recovery, though the road was a long one.

The wolf had to go through therapy and a recovery process that lasted four long months. When he was ready to be brought back out to the wild, he had to be put into a portable cage and then loaded onto a truck. This was frightening, but he would be home before he knew it.

The truck was able to get to do the countryside and they brought the cage down to be able to set Oliel free. They opened the door, but the wolf was a little cautious before he left. There were humans around and that was still very unsettling to him.

It wasn’t long before the wolf realized that he was free. He was timid, but then busted out and was off into the wild. He had made an amazing recovery and he was running through the field in no time at all – which wouldn’t have been possible following his accident if it weren’t for the kindness of strangers.

Being out in the wild, you have to look for animals – and you never want to leave one on the side of the road.
